Click here for our instructions to allow you to upgrade your VXI USB headset or USB pod to VXI's latest firmware, version 7.02, release date June 2006 (see note below). This release adds these features (All previous features and functions remain in effect):
- Full Apple Macintosh compatibility.
- Full compatibility with all versions of IBM ViaVoice speech
recognition software.
Note: The VXI USB firmware update utility will run only under Windows XP and earlier Microsoft operating systems (98SE, 98, and 95). This utility will not run under Windows Vista. If the firmware in your VXI USB headset is in need of updating, the update must be performed on a computer running Windows XP. If a computer running Windows XP is not available, you may contact VXI's customer service at 800-742-2888 to send the headset to us so we can update the headset for you. If you do not need Apple compatibility or use ViaVoice, this upgrade may not be necessary.
