VXi sells its product portfolio through our Distribution Channel. We provide our partners with qualified opportunities (sales leads) developed by our sales team which includes Regional Outside Sales Manager, Territory Inside Sales Representatives.

The primary responsibility of the Channel Inside Sales Representative (CISR) is to identify new partners and onboard them working with the ISR team.  The CISR will work alongside the ISR team to close new business opportunities, increase revenue within our existing partners not covered by an RSM and to support both the ISR and RSM team with partners. CISR will be responsible for interfacing with marketing and other departments to help partners.

Successful candidates will have a hunter mentality, a great personality and a penchant for building relationships with various personalities. They should be highly adaptable, patient, a self-starter, energetic, entrepreneurial, enjoy selling and have a strong desire to succeed. 

The typical day of an Channel Inside Sales Representative is;

  • 40%  Calling on new VXi partners
  • 20%  Calling on VXi’s existing partners
  • 20%  Communicating with VXi’s ISR, RSM & Marketing
  • 20%  Research, database, training, meetings etc

Key Measurements of success

  • Revenue quota achievement by partner
  • Growth in the number of new selling partners
  • Appointments set for Regional Sales Managers
  • Talk time with resellers
  • Number of daily phone dials
  • Partner Satisfaction
  • New opportunities

Responsibilities include:

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
  • Work with new prospect partners to walk them through the process of becoming a full VXi partner
  • Work with VXi partners to develop & implement plans to increase business
  • Assuring partners are up to date on product portfolio and processes for engagement, training, joint customer presentations, proposal preparation, pricing, negotiations, closing of deals, sales promotions and oversight of implementation and escalation of issues.
  • Drive adoption of all VXi solutions among assigned partners.
  • Identify current prospects or partners that have enough potential to qualify for RSM involvement and team with RSM to gain visit and develop plan
  • Responsible for identifying new potential partners and either reaching out directly or sending lead to sales team to acquire partner
  • Team with marketing to develop partner material, training, etc
  • Develop relationships with individual sales people at each partner
  • Provide lead and sales data monthly to all non-RSM partners. Delivers via video conference for focused growth partners
  • Drive monthly and quarterly sales forecasts with partners
  • Monitor partner websites to make sure VXi is well represented
  • Conducts VXi introductory webinars with partners
  • Maintains high partner satisfaction rating
  • Perform data input in a highly accurate and timely fashion on all channel partner contacts according to the customer information database system parameters and work with marketing to maintain an accurate list of partners and contacts
  • Enthusiastically participate in sales meetings and training to improve your performance, enhance your skills and help build departmental expertise

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years Inside Sales experience, preferably with experience managing partners
  • Documented track record as a Channel Sales Representative or Inside Sales Representative with quota achievement and performance metrics accountability
  • Experienced in solution selling and relationship building with all levels of management or business owners
  • Experience in an indirect sales model is preferred
  • Experience with contact management software
  • Type 35+ wpm.  PC literate.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • AA Degree or equivalent work experience – Bachelor’s Degree a plus.

The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to identify and close new business opportunities, increase revenue with our existing customer base and provide leads to our channel partners. ISR’s are responsible for selling the complete portfolio of VXi’s products within their specific territory. They will identify key decision makers, profile accounts, assess revenue potential, present solutions and coordinate the closing of deals with Regional Sales Managers and channel partners.

Successful candidates will have a “Hunter” mentality and a successful track record of telephone sales. They should be a self-starter, energetic, entrepreneurial, enjoy selling and have a strong desire and work ethic to succeed. 

The typical day of an Inside Sales Representative includes:

  • 40% New business development activities (phone calls, emails, strategizing etc)
  • 25% Existing business development activities (phone calls, emails, strategizing etc)
  • 20% Communicate with VXi’s channel partners and Outside Sales Team regarding account and territory development
  • 15% Database management, meetings, research, training, etc.

Key Measurements of success

  • Revenue quota achievement
  • Leads passed to channel partners
  • Appointments set for Regional Sales Managers
  • Account knowledge (number of Detailed Account Assessments completed)
  • Talk Time with end-user’s and number of daily phone dials

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet or exceed revenue quota and performance metrics goals
  • Identify new business opportunities and their decision makers, increase revenue in existing accounts and follow through until the sale is closed
  • Pass qualified leads to VXi’s channel partners
  • Communicate and collaborate with Regional Sales Manager overseeing the territory
  • Accurately forecast business opportunities by customer, channel partner, product, revenue, probability and timeframe
  • Communicate directly with customers and channel partners; recommend solutions based on customer needs and secure agreement for product evaluations; develop rapport and gather information that will allow us to improve our relations and close business
  • Perform data input in a highly accurate and timely fashion on all customer and channel partner contacts according to the customer information database system parameters
  • Take a creative, logical, analytical approach to sales; be willing to try new approaches as may be required by the company and the market place
  • Enthusiastic participation in sales meetings and training to improve your performance, enhance your skills and help build departmental expertise
  • Willingness to implement various prospecting techniques to penetrate potential end user prospects
  • Establishing, maintaining and growing territory through development of customer relationships
  • Implementing conversational selling strategies and techniques

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Inside Sales experience
  • Documented successful track record as an Inside Sales Representative in a New Business role with quota achievement and performance metrics accountability
  • Experienced in solution selling with multi buyer types including C-Level Executives
  • Experience with an indirect sales model is preferred
  • Ability to set individual daily and weekly priorities
  • Experience with contact management software
  • PC literate.  Knowledge of and expertise with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • AA Degree or equivalent work experience – Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Knowledge of Spanish, French, German or Italian would be a plus

Wireless Retail’s objective is to facilitate the growth of VXi revenue within the Wireless Retail market by gaining placement in Wireless Carriers, Independent Wireless Dealers and Wireless Accessory Distributor locations.  Working strategically with both distributors and resellers, as well as directly with the Target Accounts, the prime goal of the Wireless Retail National Account Manager is to create and close new opportunities for VXi BlueParrott headset products at targeted Wireless Retail accounts.

Responsibilities include prospecting, developing and driving sales to targeted accounts that ensure that revenue targets are met. Your duties will include conducting sales calls at multiple decision making levels to present VXi products.  You will also be responsible for making joint sales calls as needed with our channel partners.

This role could be based anywhere in the Eastern/Western US.

The National Account Manager will develop business with a primary focus on getting placement in wireless retail channels that cater to the mobile professional market, including Wireless Carrier Stores, Independent Wireless Dealer Stores and Wireless Accessory Distributors.

Typical work week of a National Account includes:

  • 60% - New business development activities (face to face end user meetings, emails, telephone calls, etc.)
  • 20% - Existing business development activities (face to face end user & reseller meetings, emails, telephone calls, etc.)
  • 20% - Account management planning, forecast planning, strategy sessions with Inside Sales & VXi management regarding account strategy & development tactics; report generation

Please note that this position is approximately 75% travel: both local and overnight 3 to 4 days per week

Key Measurements of success

  • Monthly revenue quota achievement

Responsibilities include:

  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue quota and performance metrics goals
  • Creation and implementation of named account sales plans designed to close the account generating sales that will exceed quota
  • Collaborate with other sales and management colleagues regarding cross-market opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for successful conversions and closes

  • Accurately Forecast business opportunities by customer, channel partner, product, revenue, probability and timeframe

  • Become expert in all VXi products and be able to communicate the product value and benefits to  retail and occassionally, end user  prospects
  • Prospect to ensure that new opportunities are being added to the pipeline on a consistent basis

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Field Sales experience
  • Must have existing contacts within the Wireless Carrier and Wireless Dealer community
  • Documented successful track record closing large (>$1M) strategic partnerships with quota achievement and performance metrics accountability
  • Experienced in solution selling with multiple buyer types including C-Level Executives
  • Experience with an indirect or distributor sales model is preferred
  • Ability to set individual daily and weekly priorities
  • Proficiency with contact management software
  • PC literate. Knowledge of and expertise with Microsoft Office products

This is a senior engineering position within the design engineering group. The Senior Electronic Engineer is responsible for designing and architecting unified communication headsets that utilize both wired and wireless technologies. They are responsible for researching emerging technologies. and for applying both existing and developing technologies to our competitive advantage. The Senior Engineer will work with Product Management to create product definitions. They will work within a cross functional team to bring new products and product enhancements to market.

Reporting to VXi’s Vice President of Engineering, the Sr. Electronic Engineer will be responsible for directing and carrying out the following items:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of complex, advanced noise reducing headset communication systems.
  • Leads specific product feasibility research and system architecture initiatives.
  • Research and development of emerging techniques, industry trends, processes, approaches and patentable technologies.
  • Serves as lead engineer on product development teams, contributes to conceptual product development..
  • Application and definition of technologies to meet product requirements.
  • Architecting complex microprocessor board designs, along with detailed follow through and execution.
  • Solve complex technical problems both at a theoretical level and at a hands on level, including system optimization of new products.
  • Mentors other engineers.
  • Participates on a technically focused team that researches a technology roadmap.
  • Assist project management with project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree or equivalent in electrical engineering with strong firmware development exposure.
  • 7-10+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • Exceptional microcontroller development and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in digital interfaces such as USB, RS 232, SPI, I2C
  • Capable in digital hardware design skills, microprocessor applications, schematic capture, knowledgeable in best layout practices e.g. FCC class B and CISPR 22 emissions.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate.
  • Strong engineering skills, capable of wearing many hats in a small and dynamic engineering team.
  • Display solid interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication capabilities, both locally and with remote design teams.
  • Occasional travel required, domestic and international.
  • General knowledge in noise cancelling and active noise reduction technologies is a distinct plus.
  • Wireless experience is desirable e.g. Bluetooth, DECT.
  • A telecom background is a plus, VOIP, PCM, G.711, G.722, CVSD, DSP, signal processing of noise a plus.
  • Audio knowledge is a plus.

This is a front line position for a can do, upbeat, self-starter that can take on any task and make it happen with minimal supervision.  This position provides proactive customer support as well as pre/post-sales technical support for VXi’s Distributors, Enterprise Customers, individual End-User Clients and internal departments. 

As a liaison between customers, sales, engineering, product marketing, and operations, this person will have a significant impact on customer experience and overall support operations.

This role focuses in particular on Cisco, Avaya and Polycom products and how these products interface with VXi technology from a variety of perspectives, including installation, product updates, firmware & software considerations and/or device connectivity.

The role also involves reviewing, developing and implementing support procedures required to effectively support Unified Communication and new product projects.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of technical support experience in a telephony or unified communication setting.
  • Prior familiarity with Cisco, Avaya and/or Polycom products.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • A positive, friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • 2- or 4-year degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
  • Plusses: Prior exposure to MS Lync, Skype, mobile or Bluetooth technology
