The position of Senior Electronic Engineer is responsible for wired and wireless headset designs and prototypes for VXi to profitably market. The Sr. Electronic Engineer will work closely with the Engineering team, Marketing, and Manufacturing functions to design and develop new products and product enhancements. Reporting to VXi’s Vice President of Engineering the Sr. Electronic Engineer will be responsible for directing and carrying out the following items:
- Architecting complex board designs along with detailed follow through and execution. The Sr. Electronic Engineer will be expected to solve complex technical problems both at a theoretical level and at a hands on level
- Articulating complex technical concepts into more intuitive and forward looking summaries
- Specializing in a wide range of technical areas; keeps current with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Particular focus is to be placed on advances in Bluetooth technology and in the best ways to leverage these advances into our products
- Researching detailed technical data from many abstract sources both technical and competitive; in concert with the VP of Engineering, piecing together a technology roadmap that complements our product direction

Qualifications:
- Capable of theoretical design foundation, augmented by solid experimental work, debug and root cause analysis

- Be a creative and technically focused engineer with experience of project management and team leading

In summary, the Senior Electrical Engineer will be an integral part of VXi’s engineering team effort to bring new products to new and existing markets that will fuel VXi’s continued growth.
This position will provide field support for pre-and post-sales to ensure the stable installation and operation of customer purchased VXi products (hardware and software).This includes installing, configuring, trouble shooting, maintaining, supporting, training and optimizing all of VXi’s products and at times could also include VXi OEM products. This role will interface directly with customers, distributors, resellers, OEM’s, engineering, sales and various levels of management in an effort to manage, install and/or resolve system installation issues, product performance issues, installation facilitation, and user quality improvements.
CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide on-site and/or phone Technical Product support and installation
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain VXi’s products at key customer installs
- Identify, analyze and if need be, repair and or recommend solutions to customer issues to assure a smooth and timely installation and/or problem resolution
- Provide technical product training and basic user functionality training to key customers when required
- Support customer centric programs like blitz days, trade shows, and workshops with technical expertise/product knowledge

The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to identify and close new business opportunities, increase revenue with our existing customer base and provide leads to our channel partners. This Regional Sales Manager position will cover the Northeast territory, including Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, PEI), New England states as well as PA, NJ and NY. This position could be based anywhere in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities include conducting end user sales calls to present VXi products and solutions for their requirements. You will also be responsible for conducting product training, sales training, and making joint sales calls to strategic end user accounts with our channel partners. You will be responsible for signing up new channel partners.
The Regional Sales Manager will develop new end user business with a primary focus on converting accounts that have competing product installed. You will manage and utilize the resources available to target the accounts including your own lead generation results, VXi inside sales team, their leads, as well as channel partner referrals to target new end user opportunities.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position provides proactive customer service and support for the company’s Distributor, Consumer, Call Center and Industrial market segments. Contact with Customer Service is the first, and sometimes only experience customers and prospects have with VXi. Therefore, Customer Service Representatives must create an overall positive experience for VXi customers by successfully building relationships and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. The Customer Service Representatives will service and support VXi’s customers, both pre and post sales. They will act as a liaison between sales, customers, production, finance, manufacturing and shipping.

The objective of the Director of Channel Sales is to increase VXi's market share through the growth and development of our existing Distribution and Reseller network, successful management of our Regional Sales team (Regional Sales Managers), and the acquisition of new channel partners. Working with our distributors and resellers, along with the VXi sales team, your goal is to achieve our growth objectives in the Contact Center and Office enterprise market for VXi telephone headset solutions.
