VXi launches their first in-ear headsets targeting the consumer electronics market, with an innovative extendable boom and advanced noise-canceling algorithms.

2015

VXi celebrates its 25th Anniversary by revitalizing the website, making it mobile device-friendly, adding video and image galleries, and more.

VXi launches an industry-first programmable multi-function button on the B350-XT.

2014

VXi expands the marketing department to begin a push towards accelerated growth.

VXi launches and patents a Unified Communication headset with a built in “presence indicator.”

2013

VXi is recapitalized by Vicente Partners, a private equity firm with a long, successful track record partnering with management teams to create and realize value, along with the VXi management team.

VXi adds two Bluetooth® headsets to its BlueParrott® line, the B250-XT+ and the Xpress™. Both knock out 94% of background noise and feature wideband audio, plus A2DP support for streaming Bluetooth audio.

VXi unveils the UC ProSet™, with sound quality, comfort, interchangeability and a UC-ready design that put it in a class by itself.

2012

VXi receives TMCnet’s Customer Interaction Solutions® 2010 Product of the Year Awards for the V100 wireless headset system and the X200 USB adapter.

VXi introduces the seven-model TalkPro™ line, designed for speech recognition accuracy.

2011

VXi introduces the V100 wireless headset system, providing crystal-clear voice quality and hands-free mobility for office professionals.

VXi expands our line of Unified Communications (UC) products with the introduction of the X100 and X200 USB adapters, delivering natural, high-quality audio for all computer-based voice applications.

VXi is selected for membership in Avaya DevConnect program, joining a network of companies that creates innovative, IP-enabled Unified Communications applications to help companies become more productive and efficient.

2010

Introduces the BlueParrott® B250-XT wireless headset, which quickly becomes the #1 selling headset with professional truckers.

Introduces two new headsets for the contact center and office markets; the Passport® 21 single-wire binaural headset and the convertible VXi Tria™™ available in three different wearing styles.

Introduces the BlueParrott® Xpressway™ wireless headset, featuring multipoint connection and three popular wearing styles.

2009

Re-establishes distribution channel focus while developing new products for the contact center, office and mobile markets.

2008

The BlueParrott® line of Bluetooth® wireless headsets, designed for high-noise environments and available at most major truck stops and travel centers in the U.S. and Canada, takes off in the professional trucking market.

2007

Introduces the Passport® line of headsets which are compatible with all major headset manufacturers’ systems.

2004

Introduces Everon™ amplifier with new technology components that triple battery life and is the first amplifier to work directly with all major competitors’ headsets.

2001

Introduces fourth generation enhanced contact center headset product line, branded TuffSet™.

2000

VXi is the first to market with a computer/telephone switch amplifier providing high isolation between phone and computer and tailoring the voice responses for each application. Today, this is marketed as the TalkPro™ Switch.

1997

VXi enters the speech recognition market with an OEM agreement with Dragon Systems.

1995

VXi expands its product line with the addition of the industry’s first telephone line-powered amplifier that works with electronic telephones without batteries or AC power, an exclusive VXi technology.

1994

VXi begins supplying Gold Series headsets to David Clark Company who supplies thousands of these units to the NASA ground support personnel.

1993

Develops custom headsets for NASA.

1990

VXi is founded in Rollinsford, NH with the mission of developing professional telephone headsets for the contact center marketplace.

First product offering: The Gold Series telephone headset system – a lightweight, comfortable headset with superior sound quality and rugged durability, designed to withstand the strenuous use in contact center applications.
